Job summary

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is seeking a Surveillance Officer to manage security operations, protect guests and property, and ensure compliance with state and federal gaming laws. Investigations and coordination with local authorities are part of the role.

You will supervise shifts, train staff, prepare detailed reports, and support other departments in safeguarding assets. A high school diploma plus 1–2 years in surveillance or security is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Casino systems and MS applications including Word and Excel.
• Two years progressive experience in surveillance operations; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an atmosphere that attracts guests to choose Hard Rock Cincinnati and build guest relations.
• Train, motivate, evaluate, and supervise staff on assigned shift.
• Understand department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget for effective supervision.
• Establish and maintain training procedures to ensure extraordinary guest service standards.
• Follow procedures; assist authorities to ensure laws and procedures are observed.
• Maintain current information on local activity to protect assets and guests; liaise with law enforcement and other gaming properties.
• Prepare complete reports to keep management informed of security incidents.
• Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned.
