Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Riverside, IA, is seeking a Surveillance Operator to monitor CCTV and enforce compliance with State Regulations, Internal Controls, and Department SOPs. You will discreetly handle incidents, document findings, and support shift managers and the director in surveillance tasks.

The role requires quick, accurate responses to violations, maintaining confidentiality, and cooperating with leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or 12 months related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• No relation to RCGR employees or co-habitation; must not fraternize with employees.
• Some college education and/or knowledge of table games preferred.

Job description

This position is responsible for monitoring compliance of State Regulations, Internal Controls and Department SOP’s through the use of surveillance cameras. This position is also responsible for using discretion in all procedures and policies of the department.

Essential Functions

• Continuously monitor CCTV, closely scrutinize all activities within camera range to ensure the protection of company assets, and assist fellow operators in these tasks.
• Support managers, directors, and executives in protecting information and assets of respective departments.
• Maintain a professional relationship with commission members and agents, as well as other operators.
• Act quickly and accurately in dealing with violations of company or state regulations and laws.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Augment and maintains surveillance skills through review and self-study.
• Assist Surveillance shift managers and director in tasks, including paperwork, observing recordings, and other duties assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality in procedures and incidents taken place on RCGR property.

Required

• High School diploma or GED; or 12 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• No relation to RCGR employees or co-habitation.
• Must not fraternize with other employees of RCGR.
• Must demonstrate successful problem solving and thinking skills.
• Some college education and/or knowledge of table games preferred.

Schedule

Full-time, 3PM - 11PM

$18.50/hour (including premium pay) with 40 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire
