Job summary

Golden Nugget Las Vegas is seeking a Surveillance Operator to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members while protecting assets. The role focuses on monitoring casino activities, resolving incidents, and reporting findings with integrity.

Requirements include at least one year of surveillance experience, ability to obtain any required gaming license, and being 21 or older. The position requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and analyze security reports daily.
  • Conduct investigations based on location and create detailed reports.
  • Monitor incidents and determine the source of loss.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Display professional conduct and integrity.
  • Oversee surveillance of casino activities.
  • Monitor all games for suspicious activity.
  • Utilize equipment to identify and report illegal or unusual activities.

Overview

The Surveillance Operator’s main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
  • Exercise good judgment in solving problems and resolution of guest issues.
  • Uphold and enforce gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations.
  • Read, interpret, and analyze security reports and other company documents daily.
  • Based on location, may be required to conduct investigations into a variety of internal and external incidents and create detailed reports to reflect findings.
  • Monitor incidents resulting in loss and investigate to determine the source of the loss.
  • Work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the operation, including nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • Overall surveillance - monitoring of all Casino activities.
  • Monitoring all games - noting any suspicious activity.
  • Utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property.

Pay Range

USD $16.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
