Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort seeks a Surveillance Officer I to monitor property areas and observe target games, staff, and customers ensuring compliance and integrity in gaming operations. The role supports safety of patrons and team members, with responsibility for surveillance reporting and incident reviews.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 years related experience or training. Basic computer skills including MS Word and Excel are desirable, plus strong written, verbal and interpersonal

Qualifications

• Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills, MS Word and Excel and Telecommunications are desirable.
• 0 to 1 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all areas of the property and observe target game, team member and customer to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal controls.
• Answer and initiate telephone calls concerning casino floor operations and inquiries for assistance.
• Answer radio communications concerning floor operations and inquiries for assistance.
• Monitor radio traffic for situations requiring surveillance intervention.
• Conduct surveillance on all cash operations, theft, loss, or integrity of gaming.
• Operates surveillance-related equipment and reports malfunctions or repairs.
