Bally's Lincoln Casino Resort in Lincoln, RI, is seeking a vigilant Surveillance Officer to monitor activity across all casino areas using cameras and related equipment. You will log events and respond to emergencies while maintaining confidentiality and following department procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with surveillance hardware. Prior loss-prevention experience is a plus; knowledge of access control systems and video printers is valued.

Qualificações

• Basic computer software and hardware knowledge desired.
• Previous experience in loss prevention preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and record activities in and around the gaming establishment using cameras, monitors, digital recorders, access control systems, computer dispatch, video printers, switches, and other surveillance equipment.
• Monitor all areas of the property for suspicious activity, health and safety issues, theft, cheating, scams, and procedural violations.
• Check for blind spots and camera outages or tampering.
• Log activities observed by surveillance in to the surveillance dispatch log.
• Operate all surveillance camera switching, reprogramming equipment, and use of all computer equipment.
• Control surveillance dispatch system for all calls to Control.
• Determine call priorities and dispatch security, police, fire, traffic officers, maintenance and facilities during emergencies as necessary.
• Dispatch Security officers as needed and monitor conduct.
• Maintain familiarity with all Twin River department procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality within guidelines.

• Monitor all areas of the property, both indoor and outdoor for suspicious activity, health and safety issues, evidence of theft, cheating, scams, and procedural violations.


• Check for blind spots and camera outage or tampering.


• Log all activities observed by surveillance in to the surveillance dispatch log.


• Understand and operate all Surveillance camera switching, reprogramming equipment, and use of all computer equipment.


• Controls Surveillance dispatch system for all calls to Control.


• Determines Control call priorities and dispatches security, police, fire, traffic officers, maintenance and facilities during emergencies as necessary.


• Dispatches Security officers as needed throughout the facility and monitors conduct.


• Maintain familiarity with all appropriate Twin River department procedures.


• Maintain confidentiality within the established guidelines.

• Previous casino experience is preferred but not required


• Basic computer software and hardware knowledge desired


• Previous experience in loss prevention preferred but not required

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Frequent sitting, speaking, seeing, hearing, and listening

• Occasional twisting, kneeling, handling, wrist motion, bending, and working in tight spaces

Target Hourly Range: ($25.00)
