Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist physicians during procedures and to prepare the endoscopic suite. You will sterilize instruments, ensure their proper function, evaluate patient needs, and respond to clinical changes.

Qualifications

• Some college or vocational training required.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.
• Certification with NBSTSA or recent graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program; NBSTSA certification required within 90 days.
• Experience of 1-2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during procedures and prepare the endoscopic suite.
• Ensure sterilization and proper functioning of instruments.
• Evaluate patient needs and respond to clinical changes.
• Modify care based on patient response and age-specific procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
