Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the Digestive Health Center as part of the endoscopy team. The role includes reprocessing endoscopes, prepping rooms, delivering instruments, and assisting with specimens under RN supervision.

Multiple shifts available, including 8-, 9-, and 10-hour options, with sign-on and relocation bonuses. Strong intra-team communication and adherence to infection control principles are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology.
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Valid certifications may be required per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with procedures and instruments.
• Reprocess endoscopes and related equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and clean/stock rooms.
• Assist with specimen collection and handling.
• Document procedures and patient data accurately.
• Coordinate supplies and equipment to support efficient workflow.
