Job summary

Penn State Health Medical Group LLC in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinical services, specimen collection, and routine lab activities while helping coordinate patient flow and appointments.

You will also serve as a preceptor for new MA orientation and MA student instruction. Qualifications include a high school diploma and CMA/RMA certification or eligibility, with BLS required or to be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain CMA or RMA certification within 90 days of employment date or be currently CMA/RMA certified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 6 months of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with health care services, obtain specimens and conduct routine lab studies.
• Assist with administrative functions like coordinating patient flow and scheduling appointments and messages.
• Serve as a trained preceptor for new medical assistant orientation and MA student instruction.
