Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support health care services, specimen collection, and routine lab studies. You will coordinate patient flow, schedule appointments, and handle phone messages while serving as a preceptor for new MA orientation and student instruction.

The role requires a High School diploma, BLS certification (or within 6 months), and CMA/RMA certification or active CMA/RMA status within 90 days of employment. Sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain CMA/RMA certification or CMA/RMA active status within 90 days of employment date or current CMA/RMA status.
• BLS certification required or must obtain BLS within 6 months of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health care services and specimen collection, and conduct routine lab studies.
