Job summary

Penn State Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Noll Dr. Surgery General in Lancaster County, PA. The role includes assisting with patient care, specimen collection, routine lab studies, and administrative duties such as scheduling and coordinating patient flow.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, CMA/RMA certification within 90 days, and BLS certification within 6 months. Outpatient experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain CMA or RMA certification within 90 days of employment.
• BLS certification required or must obtain BLS within 6 months of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health care services and specimen collection.
• Contribute to routine lab studies of specimens.
• Assist with administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow, scheduling appointments and handling phone messages.
