Job summary

Penn State Health in Camp Hill is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to assist with various health care services, perform administrative tasks, and support patient care. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program, and have at least two years of experience. A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential is essential.

Qualifications

• Active status as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient practice or clinical specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with various health care services.
• Performing administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow.
• Providing care under provider supervision.
• Serving as a preceptor for new medical assistants.
• Leading projects in Services Excellence or Quality.
