Penn State Health Medical Group LLC in Columbia, PA is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant (0.90 FTE) to support patient flow, obtain specimens, and perform routine lab studies, while assisting with administrative tasks and scheduling.

This role includes serving as a trained preceptor for new medical assistant orientation and for instruction of medical assistant students, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus eligible for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA or RMA certification eligibility within 90 days or active CMA/RMA certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with specimen collection and routine lab studies.
• Support administrative functions including patient scheduling and messages.
• Serve as a preceptor for new medical assistant orientation and student instruction.
