Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This 13-week assignment requires completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and Colorado licensure, with a minimum of 1 year experience and BLS certification.

Expect responsibilities including maintaining a sterile field, supplying instruments, and supporting room turnover and patient transport.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program.
• Licensed as a Surgical Technologist in Colorado.
• BLS certification by American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile field.
• Provide instrumentation to the surgical team as needed.
• Maintain and check packaging, moisture, seal and sterility indicators.
• Support patient transports, room turnovers and room preparation.
• Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and adhere to HIPAA and safety standards.
