Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a part-time, on-site role in the Baylis Day Surgery program. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or major holidays, currently 6:45am–3:15pm (two 8-hour shifts per week).

Responsibilities include scrub duties for surgeries across multiple specialties, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting with instrument handling.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience required.
• Completion of Anatomy and Physiology classes preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Maintains current CPR certification.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub technologist duties for scheduled surgeries and assists with instrument setup.
• Adheres to sterile technique and aseptic practice.
• Maintains OR readiness, assists in case setup and cleanup, and supports team communications.
