Job summary

Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist for the Main Operating Room on a day shift. You will scrub for scheduled surgeries and assist with instrument setup, draping, and room preparation.

Eligible candidates have an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience, CPR certification, and a willingness to participate in a clinical ladder. New graduates encouraged to apply; benefits include a 401(k) match and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or relevant Surgical Technologist experience is REQUIRED.
• Current CPR certification; Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub technologist duties as prescribed by hospital policies and procedures.
• Sets room for routine procedures with supplies in 5-15 minutes.
• Sets room for complicated cases requiring many supplies in 30 minutes.
• Assists circulator in checking equipment and obtaining supplies.
