Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech to join the ambulatory surgery team.

The role requires CST certification and a background in sterile technique within a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to aseptic protocols, with opportunities to contribute to quality improvement and efficient operating room support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program.
• Certification (CST) required.
• One year of experience as a Surgical Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field.
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to procedures.
• Supports quality improvement activities and surgical team needs.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team and maintains sterile field in the OR.
