Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to scrub for procedures and maintain a sterile field as a key member of the surgical team. You will prepare supplies and equipment, and support quality improvement activities in a busy ambulatory setting.

The role requires CST certification, a Surgical Technician Program, and about one year of experience. Collaboration and strong communication are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program
• Certification (CST) required
• One year of experience as a Surgical Tech in multiple specialties or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures and maintains a sterile field during procedures
• Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to procedures
• Supports quality improvement activities and anticipates the needs of the surgical team
• Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room
• Supports and participates in the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
