Job summary

SCA Health is seeking aCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operative and invasive procedures as a scrub. You will prepare instruments, assist with intraoperative activities, and ensure rooms are ready for the next patient. This role emphasizes teamwork and strict adherence to sterile technique.

The CST will maintain certification, complete BLS within 90 days if not current, and contribute to a high-quality, patient-centered OR team within a large health system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior CST experience preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred; BLS within 90 days if not current.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room turnover for subsequent patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
