Qualifications

• Must have surgical technology background and sterile technique knowledge.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days from AHA.
• Able to independently scrub basic surgical procedures and assist in procedures.

Responsibilities

• Act as integral part of perioperative team under RN supervision.
• Apply asepsis to maintain sterile environment.
• Coordinate supplies and equipment for operations.
• Perform sterilization and documentation of loads.
• Assist with patient positioning and room turnover.
• Maintain and clean equipment and report repairs.
