Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a Surgical Technician to provide scrub duties during surgical interventions under physician and RN supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting in pre-operative assessments, intra-operative support, and post-operative care to ensure positive patient outcomes. Requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program, NBSTSA certification, MA DPH credentialing, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology.
• Surgical Technician Certification NBSTSA with MA DPH credential requirements.
• BLS certification from Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Participates in surgical care during the pre-operative phase through teamwork.
• Assists intra-operatively with technical skills and post-operatively across the department.
