Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our sterile processing and operating room team. The role works under a surgeon's supervision to facilitate safe, efficient invasive procedures and to maintain a safe OR environment.

The position is .9 FTE (36 hours per week) with 12-hour shifts; compensation ranges from $29.11 to $43.03 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits are included as listed by the employer.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Previous hospital surgical tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under surgeon supervision.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environment and equipment.
• Initiate pre-procedural Time Out per Universal Protocol.
• Pass instruments and anticipate supplies during procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and record procedure details.
• Assist with room prep and terminal cleaning after cases.
