Job summary

GENNTE Technologies is seeking a Surgical Technician to support surgeons during operative and invasive procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring sterile technique, preparing the operating room, and maintaining instrument readiness.

Responsibilities extend to positioning patients, counting instruments, and documenting procedures while upholding patient privacy and safety norms. The role requires collaboration with the surgical team and adherence to department protocols.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates competency in sterile and aseptic technique.
• Assists in preparing the room and instruments for each procedure.
• Performs operating room counts and reports discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the room with anticipated instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment for each procedure.
• Assist in positioning, prepping, and draping patients for surgeries.
• Perform surgical technician tasks within scope of practice to support patient safety.
• Maintain sterile field and equipment readiness between procedures.
• Document processes and maintain patient privacy and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient end-of-case cleanup.
