Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech / OR Technician to join the operating room team. The role involves assisting surgeons, nurses, and staff to maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after procedures in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate will be currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technologist program with a valid BLS certification, ready to contribute to patient safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist in preparing the operating room by establishing a sterile field and arranging instruments, equipment, drapes, and supplies.
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants while maintaining a sterile field.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and supplies prior to procedures.
• Assist with specimen handling, labeling, and post-procedure care.
