Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs the circulating nurse.
• Maintains high standards for cost savings and containment.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and medications before procedures.
• Supports satisfaction activities and maintains relations with staff and physicians.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects lapses.
• Reports environmental concerns and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Supervises other staff and assists with training.
• Promotes a safe environment and acts in emergencies.
• Follows infection control and PPE policies.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Assists team with turnover and room logistics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
