Qualifications

• Knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instruments is required.
• Familiarity with healthcare concepts and procedures is expected.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates needs of the surgeon and communicates with the circulating nurse.
• Prepares supplies, equipment, and medications before procedures.
• Maintains infection control and aseptic technique throughout surgeries.
• Monitors safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards during operations.
• Assists with OR turnover and supports team training as needed.
