Texas Orthopedic Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Surgical Technologist PRN to support our surgical teams in Houston. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during operations, and collaborate with a skilled team using advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or military equivalent training.
• Certification in Surgical Technology is required.
• Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Scrub in and provide instruments, handle specimens, and anticipate the team’s needs.
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures and respond to concerns.
• Uphold sterile technique and support efficient room turnover.
