AdventHealth in New Smyrna Beach, FL is seeking a certified Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team, prepare instruments, and maintain sterile technique. This full-time role requires readiness to assist with procedures and enforce safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred with Surgical Technology program completion or enrollment.
• High school diploma required; CST certification preferred.
• Experience in operating room and sterile technique recommended.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates surgeon needs and informs circulating nurse during procedures.
• Assembles supplies, equipment, and meds before procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique and ensures infection control standards.
• Supports staff relations and participates in orientation and training.
• Directs room turnover and assists with turnover times.
