Job summary

Orthopaedic-Surgery-Center-of-Ashevill is seeking a skilled surgical technologist to support operating room teams under surgeon and RN supervision. You will prepare equipment, assist with setting up sterile fields, and help ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, CPR certification, and 0–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited surgical technologist program or related technical program.
• CPR certification and 0–2 years of clinical experience.
• Ability to work in operating room environment and follow sterile procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up instruments, drapes, and solutions for operations.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures.
• Assist with gowning, gloving, and instrument passage.
• Observe vital signs and assist the surgical team.
• After operation, transfer to recovery and restock the room.
