Parkland Health is seeking a PRN Surgical Technologist for the Main OR. The role involves preparing operating rooms, assisting during routine to complex surgeries, and maintaining documentation to ensure OR and PHHS requirements are met.

Requirements include an accredited surgical technologist program and certification, CPR card, and 24 CEU hours in a specialty area. Experience in an OR/healthcare environment is preferred.

Formación

• Completed accredited Surgical Technologist program and certification.
• Current CPR card from AHA/Red Cross/MTN.
• 24 CEU hours in a specialty area.

Responsabilidades

• Meets and greets patients awaiting surgery to ensure OR activities meet patient needs.
• Assists surgical team during routine and complex procedures as scrub or circulator under RN supervision.
• Sets up and prepares rooms with instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment; maintains aseptic technique.
