Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, OK seeks a Surgical Technologist to assist in operating rooms under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will prepare sterile fields, arrange instruments, and support case turnover across procedures.

The ideal candidate has an accredited surgical technology program, NBSTSA or NCCT certification, and CPR. 0-2 years of related experience preferred, with competence in aseptic technique and instrumentation readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program ABHES/CAAHEP/State.
• Certified NBSTSA or NCCT; CPR certification.
• 0–2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains sterile field and prepares instrumentation for surgery.
• Facilitates patient flow through case turnover.
• Maintains asepsis in the operating room and assists with environmental duties.
• Maintains instrument counts with the RN and reports discrepancies as required.
• Assists with high-level disinfection and cross-training in specialty cases.
