Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies surgery to be performed with consent forms and brings patient to the operating room.
• Passes instruments to the surgeon during the procedure and anticipates surgeon's needs.
• Maintains sterile field and prepares sterile dressings and dressings after incision closure.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization and assists in room turnover.
