Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technician for full-time shifts in Wisconsin, supporting Women’s Health and OB Services. Roles include aseptic technique, instrument handling, and assisting surgeons across multiple procedures. DST 30 hours/week with call shifts and weekend rotation is required.

Two grade levels are described; ST I (5007) requires no prior experience, ST II (5008) may require 2 years. BLS certification within 6 months is required and completion of an accredited Surgical

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides clean, safe operating area and assists with aseptic technique.
• Performs procedures knowledgeably and supports surgeon needs.
• Transports patients and equipment as required.
• Maintains equipment and sterile supplies; troubleshoots issues.
