Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential.
• Experience in an ambulatory surgery center or hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment under pressure.
• Good communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly and ready for use.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and supplies used.
• Follow strict infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with patient positioning and comfort before and after procedures.
• Support the surgical team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
