Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. You’ll assist in preparing the OR, set up for procedures, and ensure aseptic technique while working under the guidance of RN and surgeon.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certification in CST or TS-C within 1 year of hire.
• Current BLS from AHA, Red Cross, or Allina training within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the OR and sets up for procedures.
• Identifies supplies, instruments and equipment needed.
• Maintains a sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Assists the physician in the scrub role during surgical procedures.
• Follows safety and regulatory requirements for instrument handling.
