Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the surgery center team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, applying critical thinking and creativity in patient care.

This casual position operates M-F during the day with rotating start times. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, retirement programs, tuition reimbursement, and more!

Qualifications

• Must obtain CST or NCCT certification within 12 months of hire.
• Valid CPR skills and knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Integrate critical thinking and creativity in surgical procedures.

Skills

Certification through Surgical Technologist Programs (CST or NCCT)

CPR skills

Knowledge of surgical instrumentation

Understanding of aseptic technique

Knowledge of growth and development principles
