Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (required).
• Ability to practice aseptic techniques and coordinate efficiently in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist in patient preparation.
• Support surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Follow aseptic techniques, verify surgical site, and maintain accurate supply and specimen documentation.
• Participate in surgical safety protocols and team briefings, reporting concerns to the circulating nurse.
• Adhere to policies, standards of care, and participate in mandated educational programs.
