Job summary

Advocate Health, headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is hiring for a full-time Surgical Technologist in the 37703 Atrium Health Cleveland - Surgery Room. The role is 40 hours per week, daytime M-F with on-call responsibilities, and pay ranges from $24.85 to $37.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include aseptic technique, instrument preparation, assisting the RN circulator, and ensuring proper sterilization and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or military training in Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist.
• Current certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains aseptic technique and assists in obtaining and organizing supplies and instruments for surgical procedures.
• Assists RN circulator in patient prep, instrument setup, and specimen handling; supports room turnover.
• Monitors sterilization and ensures proper documentation of charges and supplies.

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider

Graduate of surgical technology program or military training
