Qualifications

• Credentials include RN/ CST or other surgical tech certifications per policy.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates scrub competency and adheres to aseptic technique for all age groups.
• Prepares, drapes, and assists in positioning patients and operative areas.
• Assists surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring efficiency.
• Performs sponge, sharps, and instrument counts according to policy.
• Documents and communicates relevant patient information, collaborating with the RN and surgical team.
