Job summary

Aurora Medical Center – Washington County is seeking a Surgical Tech for a full-time role in the operating room. You will support aseptic setup, pass instruments, and help prepare the room to ensure patient safety and efficiency across procedures.

The team serves a broad surgical scope across specialties. Qualifications include completion of a Surgical Technology program and BLS certification within 6 months if required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved Surgical Technology program.
• No experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months if required by department.
• Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques and operating room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient operating room environment.
• Assist in aseptic setup and passing of instruments.
• Position patients and move equipment as needed during procedures.
• Assist as Second Assistant when required.
• Notify staff of equipment or supply issues.
