Advocate Health is seeking a Surgical Technician in the Washington County Surgery Room. This full-time role requires staffing elective surgical cases, preparing the operating room, and assisting surgeons to ensure patient safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include aseptic technique, room setup, instrument passing, patient positioning, and equipment maintenance. BLS must be obtained within 6 months; new grads are welcome.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.
• No experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides a clean, safe, and efficient operating area for patient care.
• Performs procedures, maintains knowledge of various surgeries.
• Sets up the room, moves equipment, and maintains a sterile field.
• Transports patients and equipment as needed, maintains supplies.
• Assists in patient positioning and other age-specific needs.
