Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the operating room team. You will assist with aseptic preparation, gowning, gloving, draping, and maintaining a sterile field for various procedures.

You will pass instruments, anticipate surgeons’ needs, and help ensure a clean, efficient OR environment. The role requires knowledge of aseptic techniques, familiarity with different surgical equipment, and the ability to lift and move supplies as needed.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months unless exempt by leadership.
• No experience required.
• Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques and operating room equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clean, safe operating area and aseptic setup for procedures.
• Assist in passing instruments and maintaining sterile field.
• Prepare and drape surgical area and position patient as needed.
• Transport patients, equipment and supplies between areas.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, report issues to staff.
