Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Surgical Technician to join the St. Ann's team. You will set up and maintain the surgical field under the direction of an RN and assist the surgeon during procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Current license as a practical nurse in Ohio if PN background.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting surgery department goals (room turnover, first-case on-time starts).
• Assist in training/orientation of associates as directed by Clinical Educator.
• Maintain a safe patient environment and sterile technique.
• Support surgical team under RN direction during procedures.
