Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or LPN program with surgical experience.
• CST certification preferred but not required in Iowa; CST certification required within 18 months if working in Illinois.
• BLS and Mandatory Reporter status is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for procedures, including instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field during surgical procedures.
• May scrub in general, gynecology, urology, podiatry, and plastics and serve as 2nd/3rd/4th scrub as needed.
