Job summary

Ascension's Columbia St Mary's Hospital Milwaukee is seeking a Surgical Technologist to prepare the operating room, hand instruments to surgeons, and assist with patient positioning and draping during procedures.

The role requires BLS within 30 days of hire, a high school diploma or higher with 2 years of OR experience or an associate degree, and CST licensure if possible. Join a comprehensive benefits program.

• Successful completion of BLS within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High school diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative OR an Associate's/Technical degree or 4 years of cumulative job-specific experience.
• CST licensure/certification preferred at time of hire or as available.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies.

• Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
