Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for a day shift in Claremore, OK. You will assist in the operating room, prepare instruments, and support the surgeon and scrub nurse.

The role requires graduation from an accredited CST program and a current BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Join our team at a 49-bed acute care medical center offering maternity and women’s services, ICU, cardiology, and advanced cath lab procedures.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program.
• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and work closely with the circulating nurse.
• Terminally clean the operating room after each procedure and restock supplies.
• Under the direction of a registered nurse, carry out all scrub duties as outlined in the department procedure manual.
• Create and maintain a sterile field and provide instruments to the surgeon.

Preferred Job Requirements

• One year of Surgical Technology experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist through the NBSTSA or NCCT
