Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for day shift, full-time, in Claremore, OK. You will prepare the operating room, assist the surgeon, and maintain a sterile field under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and work closely with the circulating nurse.
• Terminally clean the operating room after each procedure and restock supplies.
• Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, carry out scrub duties as outlined in the department procedure manual.
• Create and maintain a sterile field and provide instruments to the surgeon.
