Hillcrest Hospital Claremore in Claremore, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Certified Surgical Tech (CST). The role includes preparing the OR, anticipating surgeon needs, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting under RN supervision.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited CST program, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preferred: 1 year CST experience and NBSTSA/NCCT credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program.
• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and work closely with the circulating nurse.
• Terminally clean the operating room after each procedure and restock supplies.
• Under the direction of a registered nurse, carry out all scrub duties as outlined in the department procedure manual.
• Create and maintain a sterile field and provide instruments to the surgeon.
