Hillcrest Hospital Claremore, in Claremore, OK, is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician for day shift, full-time. You will support the operating room team and assist with procedures to ensure patient safety and efficient care.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology program, holds a high school diploma or GED, and has or will obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Experience preferred but not required.

• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the operating room with instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs and work with the circulating nurse.
• Terminally clean the operating room and restock supplies after procedures.
• Under RN direction, perform scrub duties as outlined in procedure manual.
• Create and maintain a sterile field and hand instruments to the surgeon.

• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and work closely with the circulating nurse.
• Terminally clean the operating room after each procedure and restock supplies.
• Under the direction of a registered nurse, carry out all scrub duties as outlined in the department procedure manual.
• Create and maintain a sterile field and provide instruments to the surgeon.

Job Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Certified Surgical Technology Program
• High School diploma or GED
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• One year of Surgical Technology experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist through the NBSTSA or NCCT
