Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program with certification.
• Completion of an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the US Army, Navy, or Air Force.
• Previously employed to practice surgical technology by a PSH facility on or before Dec 29, 2020, or primary function at another healthcare facility within two years prior to Dec 29, 2020.
• AHA BLS certification required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Set up instrumentation for surgical procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies.
• Provide surgical assistance during procedures.
