Job summary

The successful candidate will have completed an accredited surgical technologist program and may obtain certification within six months; OR experience is preferred. Day shift, full-time, 1.00 FTE, hours varied, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program and maintains a surgical technologist certification; new graduates may obtain certification within six months.
• Completion of an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the US Army, Navy, or Air force.
• Minimum two (2) years recent operating room experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a sterile patient care environment and set up instrumentation for operating room procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies.
• Provide surgical assistance during operating room procedures.
